If you haven't already guessed, killing zombies is my favourite sport. As I have a dislocated left thumb at the moment, I haven't been able to kill zombies for a few weeks. Jump thumb... if you are a knowledgeable zombie killer yourself, you'll get it straight away. My latest game is Dying Light. I have managed to play most of it. I am up to the last part where you have to kill the bad guy, which happens to be human. Not surprising, zombies aren't all bad. After all, they are not criminal masterminds, they're just mindless killers.
Dead Island
I have been playing Dead Island since it was available as a pre-purchase. I even have the t-shirt. What I liked about the game is that it is first person. Much easier to control once you get the hang of it. I also liked the fact that you could choose which character you wanted to be. I chose the big black dude as my first character. You can drive utes in the game, which has caused a fair bit of laughing. I am not the best of drivers when it comes to pixels... or parking.
Dead Island Riptide
I have also been playing Dead Island since it was available as a pre-purchase. It was very similar to the original, except that it gave you another character. Game play was pretty much the same, except that it set up mobs for certain missions. You would be overwhelmed with incoming zombies, all of them pretty fast and nasty. There were less of the rams and more of the exploding types.
